Events, whether digital or in person, can sometimes be challenging for your audience. In a time where social media shortened our attentionspan, listening to a longer talk or discussion can be tiring – no matter how interesting the content. It is easy to lose focus and miss the most valuable takeaways of an event.
Graphic recording can help capture attention and put your key messages into relation. In the same time, a Graphic Recording becomes a visual summary of your event that can be shared with your audience afterwards. Graphic Recordings are available for any kind of event: conferences, workshops, seminars, lectures, award ceremonies, etc.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
As a graphic recorder, I am a mostly silent part of the event and visually record the key messages with drawings and text. I familiarise myself with the specialist content in advance, which is why a detailed briefing is always a prerequisite for a successful graphic recording.
During the event, I listen live, filter and draw on the side what is happening or being said at the event. My focus is on digital graphic recording on the iPad, as it has many advantages, especially in the digital space and at online events: It is clearly visible and can be quickly exported afterwards in any file format.
